Houston National Women's Conference, November 1977
Recorded Speeches for WASM Update

The Center for the Historical Study of Women and Gender has digitized 42 cassette tapes of recorded speeches and debates at the 1977 Houston National Women's Conference.  We received permission from the group that produced the cassettes to publish audio clips of the tapes as part of a document project on Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600-2000.  To complement that publication, we are also posting links to the speeches for use by scholars.  We trust you'll find these speeches and debates of interest.  To learn more about the Houston National Women's Conference, go to the document project at http://womhist.alexanderstreet.com/houston/doclist.htm.
