The International Federation for Research in Women's History and the Women's History Network, UK, held a very successful joint conference at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, 29 August to 1 September 2013. The conference was organized by Professor Clare Midgley, IFRWH President and Conference Convenor, and an international committee of historians around the theme "Women's Histories: The Local and the Global" For more about the IFRWH, visit http://www.ifrwh2013conf.org.uk/.

These photos, taken by Kitty Sklar and Tom Dublin, capture some conference highlights, including the vitality of conversations during breaks between sessions, the comfortable environment for the sessions, compelling key-note speakers, the sumptuous banquet at Cutler's Hall, and the excursion to the Bronte parsonage in Haworth. Historians of women really know how to enjoy their work!
